In celebration of Nurses Week, the Mississippi Nurses Foundation hosted its annual Brick Garden Ceremony on May 12, 2012 at the Center for Nursing in Madison, MS.

The ceremony provided an opportunity for nurses and friends of nursing to witness 36 individuals become a part of the history of the Mary E. Stainton Center for Nursing Garden and be recognized for their contributions and dedication to the nursing profession.

Nurse Mary E. Stainton, the garden’s namesake provided remarks on the garden history and the contributions nurses have made in their profession.
