$500 Thelma Dean Ray Rasberry Memorial Scholarship
The Mississippi Nurses Foundation is honored to announce a partnership with the family of Thelma Dean Ray Rasberry to offer the Thelma Dean Ray Rasberry Memorial Scholarship.
Thelma Dean Ray Rasberry was born on March 10, 1927, and passed on January 17, 2006. She was a Christian who enjoyed helping family and friends, as needed.
One of her greatest joys was the opportunity to go to nursing school through Holmes Community College at the Montfort Jones Hospital in Kosciusko, MS. She obtained her LPN degree in 1974 and worked at Montfort Jones until her retirement in 1986.
She has two granddaughters who take great pride in honoring her through this scholarship.
Applicants must be a student enrolled in good standing in the LPN program at Holmes Community College. Preference will be given to students who are residents of Kosciusko or Attala County.

Criteria:
Verification of enrollment in good standing in the LPN program at Holmes Community College
Anticipated graduation date
Student bio information (name, address, contact info, etc.)
Proof of residency in either Kosciusko or Attala County (drivers license)
A brief bio that includes the student’s motivation to pursue an LPN degree
