
The Mississippi Nurses Foundation provides scholarships, stipends, and grants to nursing students and registered nurses throughout the state of Mississippi who are pursuing degrees in nursing.
$5,000 Mississippi Car Tag Stipend Program
Up to $5,000 in stipends are made available to nursing students and nurses pursuing a degree in nursing in the state of Mississippi through the Nurses Car Tag Program. Opens April, 2026 – Deadline July 30, 2026
The Student Information form (link provided under Important Documents) and attachments must be received by Thursday, July 31st, 2025 for your application to be considered complete!

Letter of Enrollment verification letter from SON with date of completion
OFFICIAL transcript of college credit (sealed envelope from registrar’s office or official e-scrip)
Three letters of reference
500 word essay
