Nurse In Need Program for Nurses

On behalf of the Mississippi Nurses Foundation Board of Directors, we write this message to encourage nurses across our great state. As nurses, many of you are on the front lines of this national crisis and we support you endlessly. We also want to thank you for your heroic measures and remind you that we, the Mississippi Nurses Foundation, are here for you.

There is no doubt, COVID-19 has changed our lives as individuals, our great profession, our state, and nation forever. As a foundation dedicated to the nursing profession and health and wellbeing of Mississippi citizens, we’re reaching out to you with our “Nurse in Need” program.

The Mississippi Nurses Foundation Nurse in Need program provides financial assistance up to $500 to Mississippi nurses who are members of the Mississippi Nurses Association during hardship, such as a loss of employment, physical injury, disaster, travel cost, childcare, supplies, etc.
