The Mississippi Nurses Foundation provides scholarships and stipends to nursing students and registered nurses throughout the state of Mississippi who are pursuing degrees in nursing.

The Mississippi Nurses Foundation provides scholarships, stipends and grants to nursing students and registered nurses throughout the state of Mississippi who are pursuing degrees in nursing.

Mississippi Nurses Foundation Research Grant
MNF provides up to $2,000 in research grants. The applicant must be a Registered Nurse licensed in MS and a member of MNA. The applicant may be a graduate nursing student in a master’s or doctoral program in MS or a nurse clinician, educator, or administrator working in a health care facility in MS. Recipients are required to submit to the MNF reports of the study outcomes, expenditures of grant monies, and evaluations of the MNF Nursing Research Grant program. Awardees may be invited to present their projects at an MNA convention in October or at a joint session of the MNA/MNF Boards in December 2017.

Betty Dickson Health Policy Award
Up to $2,000 to attend a national health policy meeting/conference. (Airline accommodations, if needed, hotel accommodations, conference cost, food and gratuity.) MNF will reimburse after all receipts have been received.
